some things never change and others change drastically
ok…. i am so totally bored at what i am doing now at work, so i decide to give myself a well-deserved break 
aniwae, just like the title suggest, i have been pondering about this for quite some times. the reason: meeting rach a few weeks back…
first and foremost, it was great, i had totally forgotten how nice it was to talk to her. the funny thing is, believe it or not, we did exactly the same things as the last time we met (which is last year). the only difference is that we didnt eat lunch at cartel (cuz the one in cine is already closed) and we didnt eat gelato for dessert… everything else was the same…
it was quite surreal because after a year, so many things had happened and yet, there are some things that never change. she is still one of my very good friend and talking to her felt the same (warm as always had been). to find out that we both still like the same things and hold the same principles in life is kind of comforting. i am not too sure how to put it into words, but it just feel good to know that..
but, just like somw things never change, others do.. for example, cartel is no longer cine… oh well, thats kind of superficial, but it helps to illustrate my point. on a deeper sentiment, it was quite sad to know that i dont feature in her life much and vice versa. i mean, we used to spend hours together (in a day!).. we did many things together… (did grayvine, talked abt toad, did grayvine, talked abt exams, did grayvine, talked abt toad).. you get the idea… i used to know what kind of clothes she was thiking of buying or what she was craving to eat… not anymore…
it was also sad to notice that our lives are different now… that i have much less in common with her… we used to have the same goals, the same aspirations but now; she has her plans and i have mine and by the look of it, our paths do not seem to cross… *haiz
oh well… they do once a year (somewhere in MAY)…. so, i guess i will see her again next year, same place (probably same time) and we will probably do the same things again (for all times sake) ;p
